Schoology

Parent Schoology Information:

Maclay School is using a classroom management system call Schoology (Skool'uhjee).

Each student will login and use Schoology on a daily basis for keeping up with homework assignments and other class materials. 

As a parent, you have a Parent Schoology account so you can view class and homework information as well.  The parent account is separate from the student accounts.

If you are unsure of your password or this is the first-time logging into Schoology Parent account, please use the forgot password link on sign in page.

Once logged into Schoology you will see a summary screen of recent activity.  If you have more than one child at Maclay, you will see information for all of your children on this one screen.  The Calendar Icon on upper right of the screen will give you a snapshot of due dates and assignments, again for all of your children.

• Parents log into Schoology at: www.schoology.com. New parents will have received their log-in information via email.   If you have questions, email support@maclay.org .
• Students log into Schoology at: www.maclay.org/schoology  Student sign into Schoology via their Maclay Office 365 email account and is NOT the same log in as the parent account.

 

Schoology Smart Phone App:

For use of the smart phone app and your parent Schoology account; on the app sign in screen, do not select to login through the school, instead, just click the Continue button to login through www.schoology.com.

Once logged into the app, you do not need any access codes, tap the menu icon, and select My Children.
Here you can view course information, or tap the Calendar tab to see the homework calendar.
If you have more than one child at Maclay, you can click the drop down menu to view each student and his or her homework calendar individually.

** Grades, Attendance and student forms will be accessed in the Maclay School Parent Grade Portal (www.macaly.org/grades).
** Students use a different sign on method for Schoology.

• Students app select Login through your school and select The Maclay School
