Admissions Events

The Maclay Discover Day: Join us for an overview of one of our Divisions, PreK, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School, where you will meet with the Division Leaders and Parent Ambassadors. This is a great opportunity to learn about the curriculum, programs, support and opportunities for your child.  You must pre-register here.

Behind the Curtain: Wondering what Maclay's innovative, student-centered educational environment looks like? Prospective parents are invited to join Head of School James Milford and Assistant Head of School Charles Beamer for an inside perspective. This is a great way to learn about the programs and curriculum initiatives happening at Maclay from PreK3-12. 

1:1 with a Member of our Admission Team:  We are happy to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a member of the Admission Office so that you can learn more about Maclay School and the Admission process.  Email admissions@maclay.org for a convenient appointment.

Mini Marauder Storytime: Parents and toddlers 0-3 are invited to join our Librarian David Low for Mini-Marauder Storytime, a fun hour of stories and music.  Register at www.maclay.org/Storytime  

Shadow for  Rising K-12 Applicants: During the school year, we offer opportunities for applicants to spend time on campus as a shadow to one of our student ambassadors.  Shadow visits can be scheduled on the on-line application here.

Bridge Tours: Bridge Tour are open to current and prospective parents and is a walking tour through campus of the specific division.  These tour are held during the Spring semester and start at TruBru.

Personal Virtual Tour: Moving from out of town? A member of our Admission Team or a Student Ambassador will take you on a virtual tour of campus.  We won't cover the entire 100 acres, but you will see the high points, like the classrooms, library, green spaces, outdoor classrooms, and the new Beck Family Innovation Center. These events are scheduled at your convenience.

On-Campus Tour: We would love to show you are campus in-person.  The Admissions Office has monthly small group tours often led by student ambassadors.  Click the registration to see the Division specific tour dates each month. 

Discover PreK Open House: In October, we host a PreK Open House for rising 3 & 4 year old children so families can meet the PreK team of teachers and staff, and see what makes our PreK magical. Space is limited and you must pre-register at www.maclay.org/PreKExperience

Middle School Discovery Day: This special program is designed to give prospective middle school students a taste of the campus life at Maclay and for families to learn about the numerous opportunities and exceptional programs we offer in athletics, the arts, college counseling, student life and in classrooms. The parent program runs about an hour while students enjoy the day as the shadow of an ambassador.  Students must be in the process of applying or have a completed application to register.  Registration is limited due to classroom space.

Upper School Discovery Day: This special program is designed to give prospective high school students a taste of the campus life at Maclay and for families to learn about the numerous opportunities and exceptional programs we offer in athletics, the arts, college counseling, student life and in classrooms. The parent program runs about an hour while students enjoy the day as the shadow of an ambassador.  Students must be in the process of applying or have a completed application to register.  Registration is limited due to classroom space.
