    About Leadership Maclay

    Leadership Maclay is a program of the Maclay School Alumni Association that provides a foundation for future potential leadership and service to the School while providing Alumni with a meaningful experience to connect with other alums and engage in the long-term vision for Maclay. 

    2018 Leadership Maclay Class

    The second annual Leadership Maclay Retreat will take place Sunday, February 10 and Monday, February 11, 2019.  During the retreat, selected participants will obtain a behind-the-scenes view of the School, participate in discussions on the internal and external forces that affect the School's direction, and learn about opportunities that lie ahead for Maclay.  Attendees will also participate in discussions with senior school administrators and take part in generative discussions about the future of Maclay.

    Application Process

    An application for the 2019 Leadership Maclay Retreat can be found here.  The application deadline for the 2019 Leadership Maclay Retreat is Friday, November 16, 2018.

    Retreat Highlights

    During the course of a Leadership Maclay Retreat, participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions around various aspects of the Maclay School experience.  The retreat will also include:

    • Keynote address and moderated Question and Answer with Leadership Maclay Honorary Chair 
    • Campus tour
    • Classroom visits
    • Book discussion

    2019 Honorary Chair 

    jack The 2019 Leadership Maclay Retreat Honorary Chair is Mr. John P. "Jack" Frazee, Jr. Jack has a 40-year career in the telecommunications industry and formerly served as president/COO of Sprint Corporation and Chairman and CEO of Centel Corporation. In addition, he has served on numerous boards and given his time in a leadership capacity to a variety of organizations and causes. Jack is a former member of the Maclay School Board of Trustees and longtime supporter and friend of the school.
