Boys Lacrosse at Maclay

The lacrosse program was started in 2003 when Stephen Carr, a transfer student from Norfolk Academy in Virginia, introduced the sport to Maclay. The program started off as a club team but fielded a Varsity team for the first time in 2004. The team defeated both Chiles and Lincoln. In 2014, the team went undefeated in District play (10-0) to finish the season with a record of 19-4. The Marauders would go on to win Districts and advance to the Elite 8 in the State playoffs. Coach Mike Jones was named Coach of the Year. In 2017, the team continued an astounding 48-game winning streak and defeated Leon 17-2 to capture another District title.
