State Championship History

A Legacy of Champions.

Since 1968, Maclay athletes have competed with grit, pride, and a relentless drive to win. The result is one of the most decorated athletic programs in Florida private school history. With over 100 individual state championships and nearly 40 team state titles across 18 sports, the Marauder legacy of excellence runs deep and keeps growing every season.

Elizabeth Dowdy 4x State Pole Vault Champion
In 2025, Elizabeth Dowdy graduated with 10 state championship titles.  She is a 4 time repeat State champion in pole vault, a member of the 2025 4x100 State championship team, as well as the 2023 Champion Track and Field team, and a repeat champion in both the Olympic and Traditional categories in girls weightlifting in 2024.  Dowdy is also a 2024 Academic All-American.
