Thank you for signing up to help with Maclay School’s Jeffrey Alan Gabor Junior Interview Series. We hope the experience is just as rewarding to you as to our students! This year’s interviews will be virtual, falling in line with safety protocols as well as current trends in interviewing. Please utilize the following information before, during and after the interview.
Purpose of the Series
Through one-on-one, face-to-face virtual interviews, students will become better communicators overall, with skills applicable to all interview experiences.
* Students should gain knowledge about interviewing best practices.
* Many students have never practiced these skills before, so they will most likely experience high anxiety.
* Resumes presented vary in quality. Regardless, only about 10% of the interview time should be spent on critiquing the resume.
