Where Engineers are Born.

A man and a boy laugh while looking at a laptop in the foreground, with shelves of colorful toys and a screen displaying robotic emblems in the background.

Code It. Build It. Win It.

From the earliest introduction to coding and design to competitive robotics at the regional and national level, Maclay offers one of the most comprehensive robotics experiences in the area. Students can explore robotics and computer science through dedicated courses in Middle and Upper School, dive deeper through enrichment offerings like Building with Bots, Tech Design & Innovation, and Computer Science Discoveries, and take their skills to the next level through the Advanced Competitive Robotics team, which competes in FIRST LEGO LEAGUE and VEX Robotics challenges. Beyond the school day, Maclay's Kids Club and auxiliary programs bring robotics and STEM exploration to younger students, sparking curiosity and creativity from an early age. Whether a student is just getting started or ready to compete on a national stage, Maclay's robotics program offers a pathway for every level of interest and ability.

Children are engaged in a robotics activity with colorful building blocks in the foreground and a classroom setting with laptops and artwork in the background.
