The Maclay curriculum provides students with a dynamic liberal arts education that emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving through the iTHINK Initiative. Our small class sizes allow faculty to get to know students on a personal level and understand how to help them best.

From our Lower School physical education curriculum to our championship-winning varsity sports teams, Maclay understands the importance of physical activity in health. With our team of coaches emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship, students continue to grow even when not in the classroom.

Early Introduction

Coding, Computer Science, and typing skills are introduced in Lower School as part of the iTHINK curriculum.

It’s about educating students and giving them access to the tools they need while also preparing them to think in new and exciting ways.

The Solar Flower at the Beck Family Research Center is only the second one of its kind in the area and allows students to track solar energy.

iTHINK Multimedia Lab

As part of the iTHINK curriculum, 5th Graders produce the Lower School News each week in the Multimedia Lab.
