Transformational Education
Maclay is a place to grow and be challenged; to develop character, compassion, respect, and honor. As a Maclay student, you will not only become a strong learner, but also a purposeful citizen.
Why Maclay?
Maclay School develops PreK-12 students into unstoppable learners and leaders who are inspired to make an impact, determined to fulfill their potential, and driven to take control of their futures.
We know that our graduates are entering a world that is continuously changing. Our next generation must learn on its feet, be comfortable with rapid change, embrace uncertainty, and have the confidence to solve problems and lead others. We aim to provide students with the tools and skills for an ever changing future. We start with the student who is supported by well-trained faculty. We educate our students in both academics and leadership to support the higher purpose of Maclay School: to build learners who lead and leaders who are willing to learn.
“Education is key in life. That is why I love Maclay. The teachers and faculty do their very best to educate you. The work is hard as a rock, but it's good in the long run.” – Maclay 5th Grader
“Every child is different and has different needs to reach their maximum potential. As parents, choosing Maclay has been the best decision we have ever made.”
Mission & Philosophy
As an independent school, by our mission and philosophy, we are able to be flexible and adapt to the needs of our students.
Our Values
Honorable, respectful, accountable. These three words are the pillars of the Maclay Honor Code. They define who we are and what we expect of all members of our community in Pre-K and continuing up through 12th grade, to encourage Marauders to strive to be good citizens at every stage of their education.
School Profile
Maclay School sits on 100 beautiful acres in northern Leon County and offers class for students beginning at three years old through high school, making it a second home for many students during their youth
