Policies for Services (effective August 1, 2018)
Consistency: It is of utmost importance that your child attends every scheduled session. Supplementary educational services and therapies work best when students attend sessions regularly and consistently.
When you enroll your child and a schedule is established, those days and times are reserved specifically for your child. Our commitment to ensuring consistency with your child prevents us from scheduling other students in your child’s absence.
Absences: Although we do check with teachers, it is the parent’s responsibility to let us know if a student will be unable to attend a session for any reason, including illness, field trips, etc.
Excused Absences: Excused absences occur when there is adequate notice provided if your child cannot attend his or her session.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and / or contact the tutor or therapist directly by email or telephone.
If your child is scheduled for a session before 12:00 noon, you must call, email or text us by the night before the scheduled session to cancel it. If your child’s session is scheduled after 12:00 noon, you must call or email to cancel before 10:00 am on the day of the scheduled session. Excessive absences may result in the termination of services.
Unexcused Absences: If you do not provide adequate notice for a cancellation or if you provide no notice at all, you will be charged for the session. Of course, we will make exceptions in the case of an emergency.
Tutor, Therapist, or Learning Specialist Absences: If we need to cancel a session for any reason, you will never be charged.
Fees: Please refer to the Center for Learning’s Fee Schedule for additional information.
