• Meet our College Counseling Team: Matthew Cave and Angela Croston along with our six Faculty Advisors: Dr. Paul Berk, Jessica Kerner, Lee Norment, Dr. Will Perry, Matthew Schnippert, and Justin VanTassel, who all work with our students to help them find and achieve admission into the college of their choice.

Since Maclay School is a college preparatory independent school, we begin educating students in 9th grade to help them discover their dreams and goals for college.  By the end of Junior year, each student has completed a resume, conducted mock college admission interviews, met with college representatives on campus, identified a desired list of colleges in which to apply, and selected a college advisor.  Students and their parents, also have meetings with Mr. Cave.

Juniors and Seniors will meet with Mr. Cave.

Freshmen and Sophomores will meet with Mrs. Croston

Seniors will also meet with their college advisor every day during Flex period throughout the senior year.  Last year, 85% of the seniors were admitted to their TOP choice college and 94% will attend their 1st or 2nd choice college.  The exceptional Class of 2019 was also offered over $11.9 million in scholarships, an average of $130,000 per student.  1 senior of 91 were also National Merit Scholars, 3 seniors were commended scholars, and 1 senior was recognized as a National Hispanic Scholar.  Our seniors also volunteered nearly 18,000 hours to our community, averaging 218 hrs per student.
