  1.   "The Marauder Day of Service" is coming up a week from Saturday, April 8th, and many opportunities to help are available.  Please plan to join your school mates in this "1school, 1 Community" effort.   Go to www.maclay.org/servicelearning to see what and where help is needed, and sign up!
 
 2.  Any 8th grader interested in running for Upper School Student Council, please pick up your candidate application packet from Mrs. Coburn by tomorrow.
    
 3.   8th graders: the money and permission slip for your trip to Islands of Adventure are to be turned in to the MS office also by tomorrow.
 
  4.  Decorating Committees meet tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Barton's room (#50).
 
  5.  As you know, author Christina Diaz Gonzalez will be visiting Maclay next Friday, April 7.  Many of you have read one of her books entitled The Red Umbrella.  If you would like to order a book of hers to have autographed, your order is due by tomorrow.  Your h/r teacher has order forms in her classroom.
