Welcome to Maclay School, located on a scenic one hundred acres in Northern Tallahassee. Established in 1968, Maclay School offers a college preparatory curriculum for young people from Pre-Kindergarten (ages 3 & 4) through 12th grade. Our philosophy is to support our students in fulfilling their potential academically, emotionally, physically and artistically while building a meaningful spirit among students, parents, faculty and our surrounding community.

Maclay School Mission and Philosophy
Maclay School is an independent, non-sectarian college preparatory school dedicated to providing a liberal arts education, enabling each student to develop inherent ability to the fullest extent with a balance of discipline and freedom.
Maclay School supports its students in fulfilling their potential academically, emotionally, physically, and artistically.
Maclay School’s purposes are
